Dear Clients, Colleagues and Friends,As summer comes to an end, we hope all of you were able to enjoy some laughter and love with family and friends! TASS is ready to start ramping up its fall schedule and we can’t wait to see you out there! We are also excited to bring you our August 2024 TASS newsletter!!! TASS is proud to share our member/business of the month, Ellen Bucciarelli of Paint Your Destiny!! |
Ellen L Bucciarelli is a registered, Board Certified clinical and non-clinical licensed art therapist and certified life coach. She believes that the best time of your life is when you retire. She created Paintyourdestiny, to help people understand and grow into their retirement. Retirees and caregivers create while talking about their thoughts and feelings. No artistic experience is necessary. Clients discuss things that have happened during the day, the week, the month and over the years. Ellen creates a safe environment for people to feel comfortable talking about whatever is on their minds. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to grow and learn. Often retirees, and caregivers too, may have trouble with time management, regrouping (after leaving their co- workers) and self-care to name a few. Self-care is very important and we often focus on ways to improve. You’ll do breathing exercises at first to relieve stress and anxiety. You will also do light dancing, stretching exercises and relaxation exercises. Therapeutic art can improve your mood, social and communication skills. It’s relaxing, improves self -esteem, self- awareness and self -confidence. It may also prevent Alzheimer’s disease and helps people feel less alone in the world. Ellen believes in helping with her heart and mind. Her wisdom, creativity and intuition are her greatest skills as well as her keen listening skills. She is a dedicated and devoted wife to her husband of twelve years. When she is not working, she is playing the cello, painting, sculpting, listening to music, travelling and spending time with her friends, family and dog, Maggie. Ellen has much gratitude for life and every blessing that comes her way. She looks forward to meeting you! . |
