TASS TIPS: FINANCE & PLANNING

  • Minimize the amount of your debt, including credit cards.
  • Be aware of phone and computer scams and never give out personal information such as Social Security number, date of birth, account numbers, etc.
  • When searching for a Financial Advisor, check on their background and professional designations before engaging with them.
  • Have a budget and complete a cash flow worksheet to identify sources of income and expenditures.
  • Periodically review your insurance and retirement account beneficiaries, as well as investment performance.
  • Conduct an annual financial checkup with your Financial Advisor and/or Insurance Agent.
